Atom App FAQs
Getting started
Yes. The Atom app is where you and your child log in to your existing Atom account, so you'll need an account set up before you sign in. If you haven't created one yet, it only takes a few minutes. See 'How do I create an account?' below.
You can set up your Atom account on our website. Head to atomlearning.com/register-course and follow the steps on screen. Once you're registered, open the app, sign in, and you're ready to go.
Yes - the app is free to download from the App Store. You simply sign in with your Atom account to access your child's learning.
Yes. Atom works across your web browser and the app using the same account, so your child can pick up right where they left off, whichever device they're on.
You can update your details, manage your child's profiles and view your account any time from the account area on atomlearning.com.
Logging in
Open the app and sign in on the login screen. Log in with the email address and password used when registering. Students can also log in with their own student username and password.
First, make sure you're using the right details. Check for any typos and that Caps Lock is off. If you registered very recently, give it a moment and try again. Still stuck? Try resetting your password (below) or get in touch with our support team.
On the login screen, tap Forgot password? and follow the steps. We'll send a reset link to your registered email address.
Using the app
Yes. The app works on iPad and iPhone, as well as Android phones and tablets. For the best experience, keep your device's operating system and the app up to date.
The app runs on all up to date iPhones and iPads.
Yes. If you have more than one child on your account, each gets their own profile. You can switch between profiles in the app so every child has their own personalised learning.
An internet connection is needed to load lessons and save your child's progress, so we recommend using the app online.
Keeping children safe online is our priority. We protect your family's data carefully and never share it for advertising. You can read more in our privacy page.
Troubleshooting
Try these steps in order: make sure you have the latest version of the app installed; check your internet connection; close and reopen the app; and if needed, restart your device. If the problem continues, get in touch and we'll help.
Updates come through the App Store (iPhone/iPad) or Google Play (Android). Turning on automatic updates is the easiest way to stay on the latest version.
