Supporting Pupil Premium Students with KS2 attainment
King Edward VI Foundation are working in partnership with Atom Learning to provide completely free access to Atom Home (normally £575.90 a year) for all Key Stage 2 pupil premium students in Birmingham primary schools.
We understand the challenges that schools face in ensuring that all children, especially those experiencing disadvantage, have access to the best possible educational resources. This initiative is designed to provide that much-needed support, at no cost to your school.

Why have we set this initiative up?
We are committed to improving outcomes for under-resourced children across the UK. By providing free access to Atom Home for pupil premium students, we aim to help reduce the attainment gap at Key Stage 2, widen access to grammar schools, and set children up for success in Key Stage 3 and beyond.
Atom’s vast range of resources and tailored support will enable pupils to build their confidence, strengthen their skills, and prepare for the transition to secondary education with the best possible foundation.
What is Atom Home?
Atom Home is an adaptive learning platform designed to support Key Stage 2 pupils in English, maths and science. With over 800 hours of high-quality video and text learning resources and a bank of more than 90,000 questions written by experienced teachers, Atom provides targeted support to help all learners thrive and prepare for KS3. Where relevant, Atom can also be used by children for exam preparation and familiarisation with verbal and non-verbal reasoning.
Atom Home provides a personalised learning experience. It identifies areas where each child needs the most improvement and adjusts the difficulty of tasks accordingly. It is fun and engaging, helping children stay motivated to learn and build confidence with Key Stage 2 learning objectives.
